ENDLESS BLUE (2015)

Endless Blue builds upon NEON's glam-metal sound while introducing more acoustic guitar and flute into the mix, marking a shift to more progressive melodic rock this time around. Fans have called this album "inspiring" and "uplifting" and 100% Rock Magazine gave it an 8/10, saying "...he has something special going on..." A great pick for fans of Progressive and Melodic rock. Winner:  Best Rock EP & Executive Top Pick by The Akademia Awards.

A Note From Vitne about Endless Blue:

After I released NEON in December of 2013, after the album's steam was beginning to wan, I began thinking of what I was going to do for the follow-up.  Initially I played around with ideas about only releasing singles, but after releasing a couple of singles, it just didn't feel right.  There is something special about releasing an album.  Something about the vision it represents.

My favorite releases are generally albums, and albums that represent an idea or vision.  They are more inspiring than albums that seem to just have songs thrown together.  With NEON I felt like I did a good job of that, but for the follow-up I wanted to do something a little more personal...something that represents me personally a little more.

So I began digging.  I began listening.  I dug up some of my old songs I wrote when I first started writing songs, and I began listening again to some of my absolute favorite albums.

The result was Endless Blue.

From the beginnings of the album I felt this was going to be something special.  Something meaningful.  "Misery" and "The Ocean" are some of my oldest songs, and "Serenity" is something like the second song I ever wrote.  They are also some of the deepest.  Some of my favorite music is music from the soundtracks of video games and RPGs like Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy X, and the songs and production in Endless Blue absolutely reflect that.

The song "Endless Blue" is one of my newest, as is "Himitsu, Village of the Sea."  I wrote "Himitsu" around when my daughter was born.  It was something I just came up with on the spot, on my little Ayers travel acoustic guitar, and I used to play it for my daughter when I put her to bed.  Just the guitar, not singing (I didn't have lyrics yet).  She always calmed down.  A truly sweet moment.

This album means a lot to me, and the response so far by fans has been overwhelming. People have reached out from all over the world and told me how much it means to them, thanking me. Wow. I am so happy it inspires others. If it touches you in some way, I'm grateful.
